PERU
Carabyllo, is a district located on the desert hills surrounding Lima, Peru. Recently, Socios En Salud (Partners In Health) implemented Salud Infantil, a recreation and after-school program for children living in several impoverished settlements. With the cooperation and assistance of the staff, adolescent "promoters" training to work as counselors participated in the PhotoStory Project. They took part in two phases of the program giving them an opportunity to delve further into documenting their community needs and discussing possible solutions.
