Families
do not rely on running water and drains, but rather fountains, which
supply water to the population. The residents must install the hoses
to the spickets of the fountains to transport the water to their houses,
be it for cooking or washing the family’s clothes.

Some houses are surrounded by “pircas” or
rock walls which are put up because there was danger for the children
because they could easily fall. |
